One thing nice about living in a desert is that you can grow things all year. In the winter salad greens grow wonderfully!!
Here is one of the first salads this season.

Yes, that is a custard cup. My husband is not much of a salad eater.
He says "That is not food, that is what food eats."

Very pretty salad! Your husband is funny....that used to be me, until recently.
I always called it rabbit food and proclaimed, I am not a rabbit!

Thanks for sharing your pic, very nice :thumbsup

Lovely! I've worked my dh up to a dinner plate for salads! (Took a few years and a few meaty cobb salads....)

Great pic! Hehehe, DH makes salads in a huge bowl. There are a few things he does nutritionally that make up for the hamburger helper he inflicts on me occasionally.

WOW noobie---Tony asks for hamburger helper also sometimes.
I know what you mean!

I won't eat his HH, he won't eat my salad. yes he loves the meat salad, boiled eggs, chopped ham and loaded with cheese and some crackers.

hey we all have our favs. sure ain't going to give up mine for his..LOL

LOL! I hate to offend him, so I usually eat the meat & veggies out of his HH, and leave the rest :sick
He's slowly buying less and less of the crud though, so I'm proud.

Nice, cute little salad! Are your asparagus spears blanched?

(Noobie, we must be able to come up with a HH alternative! Sub something for the noodles and make our own flavor packet?)

Oh that is just so pretty! I'm inspired to make something similar, on a much larger scale, for Thanksgiving Dinner. Thanks for sharing.
