Have you ever bought a remnant and installed it yourself? I found this gorgeous remnant (big enough for my living room). I would love to buy it and install it myself (with my husband). I would have to buy the carpet pad separate. Do you think we can do this job?

I think that you can definitely do this project yourself. Installing carpet is a relatively easy DIY project. If you are concerned try looking for how to videos on Youtube. You can get instructions for just about any project there.

I'm sure you can do it too. We put carpet in 2 bedrooms. The key is to be sure that you knock the carpet under the walls (molding) so it stays down. I would buy some good knee pads.
