I love this magazine. Although I only buy it here and there. But I do read some articles online, they dont post them all either. So buying the magizine is a good idea. There is an office for Backwoods Home in my hometown, which is 32 miles away from me now. I know one of the editers/writers, he is a family friend. I dont know him as well as other family members, but we know each other by name when we see each other. I also used to clean his house when he was too busy too.. I should have bartered cleaning house for magazines.. LOL. But I didnt know he worked there then. Instead it put extra money in my pocket..

My Dh really wants a subscription, plus every back issue they offer. I keep telling him its on the list. About every other day he reads something else on their website (working his way through the old posts) and asks again!

It's the only subscription I have not cancelled I enjoy the articles and find something new every time I pick it up. Politics I could do without honestly, but there are always pros and cons to every magazine.

Yes, but in that article Jackie Clay thinks goat meat is called chevron 
It is chevon...Chevron is an oil company and i don't think it would taste very good

Actually...I'm not sure it is a typo. It is repeated throughout the article.
