Edible Flowers

I have been planting my garden. I don't like to waste garden space on things we can't eat. My dd wants to plant flowers so I was thinking; some flowers should be edible. I am talking about on salads and such, not herbs and flowers with medicinal value. I already have a garden for those. Does anyone know of safe flowers to eat?

Nasturtiums, Violets and several others are not only edible, but tasty!

Pansy's are often used on top of salads.

It does have some herb flowers too but I liked that it had a bit of description of flavor.

So far I would like to try pansies, violets, nasturtiums, and marigolds. I wonder how my family will react to another strange food in their salads!
