Eggs Recalled After Salmonella Found at Ohio Farm

Another week, another food alert .

"According to Cal-Maine Foods, the Ohio Fresh eggs were distributed in Arkansas, California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas."

Geez I'm glad that we have our own chickens.

Or ducks. I have 5 hens. 2 are lying consistently, 1 is molting and 2 more should start laying next month

Glad I have my own eggs. And no, it isn't my farm!

Sure makes me glad my hens layed so many eggs. WE still have a few dozen left. So we're ok, even though none of them are laying right now. Some of the young pullets should start laying soon though.
