I have always had the urge to punch them in the face. The urge to hunt them down individually is new :D

Breaucrats aren't really part of the human race IMO. They live in their own world, but make live difficult for the rest of us. They don't have anything real to do, so they have to make up stuff and then they watch us react for their entertainment. :p

We call 'em Insulated Americans. Cause they are insulated from all the crap they throw out for us to deal & live with.

Now where'd I put that set of wire strippers...?

I'm in the middle of this book right now. I was reading it while waiting around during jury duty for the last couple of days. The book is not bad, but sometimes it takes a lot of reading about random stuff to get to the interesting insights. It really puts into perspective how big-business, corporate agriculture runs government control of the food system. I wasn't surprised to read that federal control of food is that way (since the federal government controls food that travels across state lines), but I was surprised to learn that state controls are so similar. I would have thought that state controls would be more local-food friendly. (But then again, why would the corporate food producers want to let that happen, since some of their market share could be compromised?) The system is really broken, and needs some serious changes.
