Family Pictures...

So, once again I find myself slacking/not having enough time to post. About two weeks someone requested ( I took it as such) that I post some family pictures. Below you will find pictures taken on August 1st and 3rd, 2009 on our trip to NYC (to visit our friend Steve/go to a Mets game).

Great pics. Your daughter is precious. Has she seen Men in Black? Bet she was awed by the skyscraper canyons.

Naw, no Men in Black (Superman is her thing), but she did get a kick out of the World's Fair set-up in Corona Park. but, the Mets' game really did it for her. Since she was about nine months old she has been asking to go to a baseball game (her favorite team, and mine's is the Red Sox, my wife is an Orioles fan). The Mets' game was her first game and she ate it up!

Before Maya was born my wife and I started a MLB ballpark tour (all 30 parks). We made it to 12 parks in two seasons but we had to take a break. So, this summer we started it back up and Maya joined us.

Okay, you all are too cute.......you're a bit fuzzier than I remember, though

Maya is adorable!!! Your wife is so pretty! It looks like she and Maya are two peas in a pod!

Thanks. It's amazing how alike they are. Maya acts just like Christine, her mannerisms, her interests, and just the way she looks at me. It's crazy, sometimes I feel like I'm looking at a mini Mama.

As for the beard, I've never had one and for some reason I decided to grow one this summer. I had it for about two months and then I shaved it off the before my birthday. The students from last year didn't like it and my new students (9th graders) want me to grow it back. I'm not sure. Christine didn't care I had one even though she prefers me clean shaven.

The Mets' game was her first game and she ate it up!

Did they have the decency to win for her while you were there? It hasn't been much of a season for them this year.
