When I was making jewelry, I would look at the pics in mags like Vogue and In Style for ideas and made some pretty cool stuff! I did a little custom work for a few people and used the money to buy some verrrrrry nice pearls for....ME!
So when I dress up, I wear very plain, simple clothes and very flashy jewelry.
Hey, abi, I made my first pair of panties two days ago, made a pattern from a favorite holey pair, and used a stained tshirt of dh's and tried 'em out today. I'll be making more...they are the best and most comfortable undies I own! 'Cept for the funky stain.... But he has a lot of colored tshirts made of the thicker cotton knit material and being a massage therapist, they always get oil stains long before they wear out.
I watched the show with DH and didn't see a thing that even looked conservative. Actually it reminded me of a bunch of kids playing house,..and everyone had to put on their costumes. Plus I really thought many of them should go home and wash their hair and try combing it,...maybe even get out the scissors,....that is just my opinion though,...TanksHill said:So Abi let me ask you this..... I didn't watch the show. I gave up those things long ago. But it is interesting to see the clothes.
All things being relative. Did the state of our economy reflect in the fashion choices of today's A list. Did it look like the famous folks were decked out in "extras"? Or were they a bit on the conservative side?
If that's possible for those people?
