I spin, knit and crochet but I want to get better at it.

i knit. and i just got assigned to do socks.

I think socks are easy. I'd MUCH rather knit a pair of socks than a scarf!

It only require you to know how to decrease and pick up a stitch. No big deal

O... and kitchener's stitch to close the toe. I have to look it up every time. :rolleyes:

I'm getting a book at the library to learn increases and decreases and youtube of course.

Youtube is fabulous for learning new stitches! Socks? Hmmm. I'd love to make a pair of socks. I haven't been buying yarn. Just spinning it, because I made a trade for roving. I have llama/alpaca and wool. I don't think any of it would be good for a pair of socks. I also haven't tried spinning fine yarn yet. Mostly worsted weight. I'm now trying out spinning with beads which is really cool and exciting and I also want to try Navajo plying.
