Yeah, my guess is that most "wild caught" salmon is actually farmed. :p

I worked part time at a retail seafood outfit. We were told that the wild caught like Coho and Sockeye were boney and never frozen.
The farmed were frozen and contained fewer bones.
The customers were very picky, this was a very upscale store.
We got our stuff from suppliers and vendors and really had to take their word.
