THE GARAGE IS CLEAR!!! :woot

I brought Whodat in there first of february....then a batch of chicks....then another batch of chicks from ordered eggs......then my meat rabbits......then my turkey batch number one with some chicks.......then the geese and second turkey batch......

AND NOW THEY ARE ALL GONE!!!

Geese and Turks went out last week, and we went and got my new (used) hutch and moved my new breeders out. Two were bucks and one is a doe, so I have another one to slaughter. I may make him big and use him to make broth with.... :hu

This is ticktail, possibly the sweetest kitten we have ever had....

1419_sam_0755.jpg

This is Al, he is my new buck. He resembles his Daddy who was slaughtered by the dog attacks earlier this year.

This was the daddy and he was Alex

This is the doe I saved from my 16 original kits, name is not known yet.

Here are two Delaware pullets I hatched off of WBFs eggs she sent me...

These are the geese, I love the things! Then some turkeys in the background...

My oldest turkey that I hatched from eggs I bought....I don't know if its a tom or hen yet :hu

BB, you should definitely see a wattle forming on the turkeys neck by now, does it have the little bulbous parts on the bottom?

Congrats on cleaning the garage, do you want to come help with mine??? ;)

Tanks, can you give more info on sexing turkey poults please? I have some that are about two months old. I am pretty positive that three are toms, but not entirely sure.

Thanks for the pictures BB! I know nothing about turkeys, but that last one looks pretty - not the usual white I think of. What kind is it?

Well the few times I've hatched bourbon reds I have had both male and females. Normally the boys grow larger right off the bat. They also have the larger wattles that form the round red bulbous partaking at the bottom. I will look to see if I have any pics of my younger birds.

Do you have a front view pic?
