I found this local business:

Tasmanian House of Fibre

They look soooo cool. However, their cheapest spinning wheel is $531.

But they have everything, from fleece (and various choices of it too), carding and spinning suplies, dyes, patterns, knitting and felting stuff, books, seconf hand things, and I really like the look of their website overall.

Just thought you'd be interested to see what other parts of the world had to offer.

Possum and Wallaby batts?? cool!

Possum fur is REALLY nice. I know they are a pestilance in New Zealand, and are killed often, and turned into handbags, sausages (yes, I've tried possum snags) and hides.
