About half way down it says "unlike beans, it doesn't require pre soaking but does require time to soften".
sounds kinda contradictory. Hummmm??

I am teaching a class tonight and we are making a barley soup. I would like to talk about the health benefits of soaking away the pytates, enzyme
inhibitors etc..... I just can't seem to figure out if that applies!
