just thought I'd share....on the news tonight it was said that Target will NO longer be selling "farm raised" salmon products but only wild caught.
hmmmmmm, makes ya wonder with this and Wal-Mart selling hormone free milk, do you think they may finally be getting the idea?

I also buy milk under the Western Family brand which is from Associated Grocers (AG) and I noticed on it's blue label (2%) a yellow strip with miniscule print that it says "This product has not been treated with growth hormone ???" Sorry I couldn't make out the numbers.
Now this could mean different things...either the milk itself wasn't treated with a particular hormone, or the cow it came from wasn't treated, I'm not sure. I hate it when they word it that way because it can be deceiving.
Anyway, it's not much but anything is better than nothing.

Monsanto stopped producing rGBH, so you'll see that little label everywhere - they didn't stop willingly, they stopped because their supply dried up.
