May your children rise up and call you blessed! :)

I usually don't get many presents for MD...the boys usually just do something nice for me or take me out for a meal~when they remember. Mostly they give me or make me a card, which I love just like any other present. I save them all.

This year my cup runneth over!!! Today I bought a tiller, subsidized by the Bat, for our mutual MD present. All made possible by the Lord, praise His Holy name.... :bow

I came home to a clean house, compliments of my hard-working eldest son...he worked last night and had to work tonight as well, but used his sleep time to transform my house. LOVE that boy! :love He also got me an Ipod and will load up some great music for me.

Middle son will most likely surprise me..who knows? :p

Youngest son bought me Food, Inc!!! :celebrate They are slowly learning......

May you be surrounded by love on the day to honor mothers! :hugs

Bless you too Bee!
My amazing DH, who has never been one for surprising me with extravagant things, got me a really nice camera. An SLR!! I'm thrilled. I've wanted one for so long.
DS picked out a bracelet for me when he was with my mom last week one day. Very soft stones and sterling. I love it.
After church they are taking me to Old Sturbridge Village, my favorite place on Earth. Can you say BOOKSTORE???
For my mom, we took her to the nursery and got some plants yesterday and we are still looking for the perfect set of windchimes that she's asked for.
Happy Mother's Day to all!

Happy Mothers Day to all my wonderful friends here on SS who have profoundly touched my life and always bring a smile to my face!

I am up early to enjoy a cup of coffee and a little computer time...then shower and off to church.

Going to BIL's this afternoon with my mom and Hubby's mom. It should be a nice relaxing day :thumbsup

Thanks you guys!! Happy Mother's Day right back at ya!

I got to sleep in and when I woke up all the morning chroes were done! (She even left the rooster in and let all the girls out so he wouldn't wake me up! :love )

I love being a mom!!

You guys have a great day!!!

Oh and she wrote me a poem!!

A Poem for You

Mom you're so cool
You really rule
You were the prettiest
in your school.
You're really cool
and you don't look
like a fool, I love
you!

-Samantha

(Except she misspelled "you're" twice, she wrote "your". :p Like mama like daughter!)

 I love being a mother too....best job in the whole world! :celebrate

I had a good morning in church and a good lunch with my son, I got breakfast in bed from my oldest (after he worked all night!!! LOVE that boy! Gonna make a fine husband one day, you think?), got to stop at a yard sale and bought some beautiful rugs(2), an antique mirror that matches my old dresser...same color and everything..and a blue Ball jar with zinc lid ($1)...all for the great price of $36! :)

I also mustered up the strength to not bring home the cutest little puppy in the world..... :barnie (patting myself on the back....)

Today is a blessed day! :bow

My friend Mary, at church, had a bad week...her barn burned down and all her husband's bee nuc hives he was building were inside. The good news is that the insurance is covering it and we are all going over there next Saturday to help clean up the debris, salvage the metal and have a potluck dinner. She is very sweet, has five kids and homeschools them all....love that woman!

Might even be able to persuade her husband to throw together some quick top bar hives in the meanwhile.....heh!heh! trying to get another convert to TBHs! :)

I had a great Mother's Day!

At church this morning they gave all of us mom's cook books!! I got a slow cooker cook book - which I absolutely love!!

Then, we borrowed a teen from our friend over the hill and went into town for a couple hours - can ya believe that? two days in a row we were kid free!!!

I really am feeling spoiled today - my Mommy gift list included 2 blueberry bushes, tomato plants, a red raspberry bush, a few pepper plants - and then the good gifts!! I got an exercise jump rope, 8 pound weight, pedometer, and a Dancing with the Stars workout video - and no, it wasn't his way of dropping hints, it was all stuff I asked for!

I already used everything except the video - we'll consider starting that tomorrow lol

it was a great day!!
