Has anyone made windows from old bottles?

I have a variety of old wine bottles from the local recycling centre that I'm hoping to melt down and make into windows for the bedrooms but not really sure how to go about it. any suggestions?

I don't have an answer to this but it sounds like a really great idea.

Do you have a kiln? It appears that slumping bottles requires one from the high temps needed.

I hope it can be done without a kiln because I'd like to experiment with it, now that you've brought it to my attention!
