We're a bit sparse on active members right now, but we're hoping that will change over time!

I will have to learn to upload some pics... although it is rather embarrassing! This old house needs work!
I will need to really spend a little time and look through all the different threads.

DS bought an 1836 house a few years back. Paid way too much for it, but DIL fell in love with all the wood. So far not much has been redone aside from the kitchen. Together they managed to create a modern kitchen with the look of 1840's -- Beautiful! There is still plenty to do inside and out on the three story money pit, but the potential is breathtaking.

It sounds amazing! I love old houses, the older the better, but I can imagine they can get expensive!
