I'm desperate for bug repellant. Few hitches though... I need one that is "hypoallergenic" and doesn't throw off a smell, because I'll need it while working clinicals in a nursing home and the hospital. There's a specific kind of bug that is driving me insane, they're tiny little orangish bugs and apparantly they fly, and damn do they bite! One bit me while I was taking break during the nursing home clinicals and my arm rashed all up. I was out taking care of the ducks and plants and found a zillion of them on me, and I believe this is where all my nasty little itchy spots have come from (I was worried they were flea bites at first, but the animals are all treated and I haven't seen any). I'm going to go completely insane if I can't figure something out to get these things to leave me alone!!!
I've thought about the catnip, but I'll have to harvest some (I'm not paying those prices for catnip EO!) and I'm not entirely sure if this would cause any reactions in the clients or produce any smell. Any help would be much appreciated!
