4----17" new 10 ply

$1000

but we have 'big' tires on the truck now so we are getting a trade with these tires of $125 each. So it is $500 in trade plus we pay $500 on the new set.

honestly I can't believe costs sometimes. come on folks, 4 tires are $1K
BLECK and triple bleck. but at least we had those big ones to trade. saved a buck.

I remember the olden days when I would get nickle and dimed to death. then it was $20 to death. then it was $100 to death....now I am getting $1000K'd to death HEEHEE

well, guess it beats the cost of the tractors tires we had to buy :)

plus the hydraulic cylinder is bad on the bulldozer. $1500. but we are selling the RoadGrader to a guy and are trying to get a good price PLUS him kicking in a new cylinder cause he has access to that stuff. oh I tell ya the drama of these deals and costs drives me nutso!!!!
lol

Yup, Dh asked me to price out tires - six of them - for the 1 ton, cause they are looking sad. I told him they'd have to get a lot sadder looking before we replace them, unless he wanted to take out a second mortgage!

Yup, just put a brand new set of tires on my truck, 305/75 R16s 10-ply Kumho mud grips and the price was around $1200 :th Woulda prefered an all terrain, but the performance on my last set was awful in the pastures.. slipped all over the place :he These are much better.. I reckon its worth not resurfacing lost pasture space from sliding tires for the price difference :gig

I use to run goodyears on my truck, but the latest in prices have me eying coopers at Fleet Farm. Seems they are the lowest 4x4 tire I can get for under $800 and since I don't travel much..about 112 miles a month, that's one trip to town and back once a week every week, it would be the best deal for me and my purposes.
