Pintrest is a dangerous thing. Very very dangerous. They have minion cupcakes. And all sorts of things. It will suck you in. So don't go visit it.

I guess there is satisfaction in getting sucked in....
Like this recipe for homemade makeup remvoer:

I am inclined to not use baby oil either, but would probably use olive oil over coconut oil, or possibly avocado or almond. I assume that the soap is used as an emulsifier to help keep the oil and water mixed. I guess I'll just have to make some up and see how it goes...

I'm such a dork for loving to make things myself!

My favorite makeup remover and face cleanser.......... mix 1 part cornstarch to 3 parts milk..... for eye make up remover I use either coconut oil or olive oil.
Your skin feels fantastic after using the milk and you will be shocked how much makeup will be on your rag..... I have trouble with break out but since I have been using milk/cornstarch my face does not break out. Found out about this from the Dr. Oz show

My method is even easier ... I don't wear makeup!

I didn't read the article, so I assume the oil was part of the remover. I do use coconut oil on my face at night - just a little bit rubbed in. It makes my skin feel very smooth.

OR that is my philosophy too... except when I have to go out and dress up and and look all presentable like... UGH. I don't even put on makeup very well! LOL
The cornstarch and milk sounds awesome, but that would have to be made up on a daily basis, right? The other recipe serves the lazy side of me much better :p

I use coconut oil for a LOT of things, and I really do like it on my skin, I use it instead of lotion now. I am looking forward to making lotion bars when I get the rest of the ingredients that I need as plain coconut oil is awkward to use sometimes. Its either too liquid or too solid.

No, I put the left over in a sealed container. It last for a few days. Don't forget to stir it. Also I nuke it on cold wintry days.

It probably wouldn't be bad for me anyway, because I actually rarely use makeup anymore, I could mix it up when I needed it.
Yay for new stuff!
