I keep getting a really weird feeling, no pain, just odd. Almost like an adrenaline rush, but my stomach burns :hu What could it be? Hormones maybe? Ending cycle at the moment, and seems to be related to that time...just wondering if anybody else has this. It's just strange and uncomfortable. Kind of ongoing for a while. I used to have tremors too, but those stopped, and the feeling is less frequent since I laid off so much sodium which has seemed to alleviate it a bit. It's still THERE though, and I want it to get lost  Still haven't figured out what it is exactly. *sigh* It is really starting to annoy me. Any ideas? Adrenal fatigue hanging on this long? Yes, no, maybe? :D Juuuuuuust wondered ;)

Sounds similar to something that happened to me back when I still hadn't figured out all my food allergies and sensitivities. I was puzzled reading your description and then it hit me....I haven't felt that in about....10-12 years? I described it to an allergist as "like I am very afraid but I am perfectly calm and having an otherwise good day. It is the physical feeling of fear without the emotion." Does that sound familiar?

BINGO somebody give this woman a cookie!!!! That is it exactly!

Except mine were accompanied by tremors during the onset of symptoms. I lowered my salt, by eliminating junk foods, and.....oh DANGIT...I had some Doritos today. :th I have thought of food allergies, but haven't done an elimination diet YET...must get my book back from my friend and follow the diet for a few weeks. I bet it is something in Doritios :/ I like Doritos on ocassion, but I hate this feeling. It seemed so random too. *sigh*

I dunno, I eat a decent ammount of corn though, and I am thinking it may be a preservative instead, or some kind of fakey cheese powder or weird unnatural plastic seasoning they put on the darn things. I had fried catfish rolled in cornmeal for supper, but my body wouldn't be processing that just yet I don't think. I ate the chips around 4ish and then cooked supper(because I had company all through lunchtime and didn't get to eat I grabbed a quicky junk snack)and had the catfish just about an hour ago.

That sounds like some of the symptoms I get from MSG. Do Doritos have MSG in them?

Well, pretty sure those chips are full of it.
MSG gives me panic attack symptoms, if that helps you any.
It hides under more then 40 different names too.

FULLY LOADED! My step daughter is allergic to MSG too. We have took most of the MSG out of the house on account of her allergy, me and DH still consume minimal ammounts though. Maybe that caused me to develope a new sensitivity?

Yep, I was going to say MSG too. Doritos are full of MSG, I've read. (MSG is full of GMO soy.) But GOSH they taste so darn good! :p
