How-to books for building projects

I recently found this book at a local used bookstore (I love a deal) so went looking for it online so I could post a link to it here (it's a fab book!) and I found it on eBay along with another very useful looking book (I live in the city so can't tackle any projects like these but thought I'd post for anyone who might be interested). The eBay prices aren't the best, but I bet a few copies of these books are hanging out in your local used bookstore (or library).

Anyone else got fave books for ss projects?

Thanks for the link moolie - TRADITIONAL AMERICAN PIONEER HOMESTEADING SKILLS looks like a great book. But 25 bucks and 40 bucks for shipping is highway robbery!

I love these kinds of books. I have a few and I refer to them frequently.

I have Back to Basics. It's a good book, but it seemed to be kind of expensive there. A friend saw it in TSC, but I don't know what they were selling it for.

I have the book "Handy Farm Devices and how to make them"

Never made any but good ideas in there and has how tos on everything.

I have a massive library of books and find not just one book covers everything. I found The Backyard Builder to be a good home owner project book. Over 600 pgs of good ideas. I'm a carpentor and I still like to ref this book. Covers a lot of project catagories. Gardening to furniture.

You can find it cheap on-line. I found mine at a old book store for 4.00
