I used to use a mighty bond to let the objects where I hang different items. The wall is concrete, by the way and it doesn't stay long on the wall specially if the wall moistens. Can you give me an idea how to keep it stay in place and what's the best material to use?

I have seen people use construction adhesive to attach items to walls, but I don't know how it works where moisture is an issue.

Otherwise, you may need to add a nail for added stability.

What is the wall made of?

I would try drilling a hole and using an anchor. That is much less likely to come off of the wall. Of course if you are in a dorm room or rented room, you can't do that. But I really don't know what else to suggest.

Adhesives are quick and easy, but I just can't ever feel comfortably assured using them on concrete. You did say concrete, right? Get out the tools and anchor it, for your own peace of mind.

So it's not a case of the bond not taking initially, right?

If that were the case, I'd try a pole cat if that would work or something to clamp it in place till it dries.

I agree that a hole and an anchor would be ideal if possible.
