About 10 years ago we moved from the "big city" to a plot of Texas Hill Country and followed in Farmer MacDonald's footsteps. We garden in raised beds and a large greenhouse, raise all sorts of animals (cattle, goats, doggies, chickens, runner ducks), and enjoy good old-fashioned home cooking. Wouldn't want to do without my black iron pots and antique Singer sewing machine. Want to say thanks in advance to all of you for sharing your experiences and teaching lots of new tricks!
