I can't wait to have a broody turkey to raise the poults, I lost one yesterday evening and one last night. Most seem "fine" but who knows.

That stinks Buff. I have lost four this year as well. They are pretty delicate as far as it goes until they get up arpund 6-8 weeks, then you almost can't kill the darn things! Hopefully that is the end of your losses
