At first I thought I didn't clean my basil good enough, then I realized I had a hole in my molar.
The tooth had been bothering me for a few weeks. Now that the filling is out, it actually feels a bit better.
I don't know what I can do now though. I am leaving for NY on Wednesday. I have no money for a dentist and am not all that inclined to go see one anyhow. Anyone have any idea or suggestions. SO said he apoxy it for me! LOL

And I packed dehydrated fruit and nuts for my snacks on the trip. I'll be making sure I'll chew them on the other side. :p

FD - Check at your local pharmacy to see if they have dental cement. It should be in the dental section. Its not permanant but will help until you can get to a dentist.

They sell some kind of dental cement at Emergency Essentials, but since you'd have to order it, it wouldn't help immediately. Glad you aren't in any pain...hope it stays that way!

Thanks for the link Mackay.
I don't like babyfood. So I will need to deal with this sooner or later. Just gotta find someone who is willing to do this in exchange for tomatoes :p

My daughter had a hole in a baby tooth for a while, it was difficult to fill it with that cement stuff you buy in the grocery stores, but we did - the tooth was on its way out anyway.
That cement stuff didn't last long in the tooth at all, we had to keep putting more in almost on a daily basis.

I just need to put something in there, so I don't end up with a bit of food stuck in there and making things worse.

Is there a dental school close by? They are usually inexpensive. I bet they could take you right away too.

I am leaving tomorrow at 7 am. I don't even have time to check if there is a dental school. There is one about an hour away in San Francisco.

I'll deal with it when I get back from my trip. I thought about a dental school too. I used to go to the one in SF, when I lived there.

Geeze FD, I really feel for you! :hugs (I hate baby food too!)
