It was quite an eye-opener.

I had never considered how much of our food comes from unlikely sources like rocks and petroleum.

Good for you.. Makes you really wonder about everything else too. Steve is a super guy. One of the best people I have become friends with. He summers here where I live in Maine. Steve is currently talking at some High Schools about his book. Please keep passing on this book. I think it is one of those books that really wakes people up. Another eye opener was the DVD Super Size Me!! .............. O MY GOD!!!

Again thank you for buying his book. He really appreaciates everyones support. I am finding more and more people on these types of sites reading his book. :)

Well. since you know him, tell him I appreciate the way he presented the material- in a gentle, non-vitriolic way; just the facts with some humor but no preaching. I like the way he just laid it out and left me to make my own conclusions. He seems like he would be a good guy- curious, intelligent, open-minded.

The Wife and I read that book a couple of months back, and I felt the exact same way about his writing style. I learned a great deal from him. Tell him I said howdy next time you see him. :frow

i'm always just surprised that people eat twinkies.... really? i mean anything like this, that has "itos" in the name, and soda just kinda scream "i'm not food! don't eat me!"

now if twinkies were deep fried and covered in chocolate.. maybe.. but at that point you might as well eat a donut. made by a nice amish lady and fried in lard.

whoot!
