I'm Moving to the Country

Hello! Just wanted to let you all know about a blog I just started about my ongoing endeavor to become more self-sufficient. I'll be moving to a farm and hope to raise my own food via garden, chickens, and cows. I'll also be trying to incorporate passive solar heating, solar water heater, and maybe a grey water system. (Depends on whether or not I can afford it!) Someday I'd love to have a wind turbine if I can afford it, too.

Me too yeah...goats are easier for me to handle, but I sure do love a beef steak occassionally

Heh, thanks WZ, now everyone here who didn't know that song understands my signature! I had never seen the video.

Hubby and I liked that song way back when we still didn't live in the country, it wasn't our inspiration but we do sing "Millions of peaches, peaches for free!" Badly, of course.
