Went to an auction today, got sunburned.... and the only thing I bought was some rocks(flagstones) for our upcoming pond project.

I HATE trying to peel my underwear off so I can take a shower.

Yesterday was heavenly, no humidity and in the low 80's after a week of relentless heat and humidity. I can't stand it. Today was warmer and muggier, but tomorrow is supposed to be in the low 70's. Thank goodness.

Joe Bastardi doesn't have much good to say for us non-heat lovers this summer. Scroll down a bit and read the report. I just hope and pray it rains a bit (unlike lately, it's been so dry with this heat, the clover in the back yard is crisping up!)

I know the pain, I was driving hubby's car today with leather seats, and I was wearing shorts, so I had to PEEL my legs off the seat, it felt like I left half my skin behind... worse than damn waxing!

Your post is a bit confusing to say the least, a good pair of cotton briefs will not melt on you, by OSHA code we were required to wear them for that reason only when dealing with electrical fires. They will however cling to you like a wet baby seal to a club sandwich, Argo corn starch will solve that problem though.

When you say "melted" it makes me think of those synthetic speedos types made of polymetric plastic that some of the more girly nancy boys would prance around in - I hope that is not the case and refuse to believe it otherwise.

Anyways getting back on task, from my considerable experience you need not cut a perfectly good pair of cotton briefs from your belt-line, but only to stand in the shower with them on and let the bvds soak up enough water to sag and drop from its own weight - the pre washing is a bonus too.
