Kefir....how do I send it in the mail?

I have a friend in WV, that wants to try Kefir...but I am unsure of how to send it through the mail....HELP!

I got mine dehydrated and mixed with a little powdered milk.

I'm sending some out dehydrated (I didn't use the dehydrator, I just spread it on a paper towel in a basket and stuck it on the bookshelf near the woodstove.) I am putting a few grains in a small plastic container, wrapping that with a grocery bag for extra padding, and putting it in a padded envelope.
