I need some information from issue #16. It contained an article or maybe was under "CONTACT". It told how to easily remove porcupine needles which I needed shortly after reading the article. They came out effortlessly. I think it was dabbing vinegar on them or something like that. If anyone remembers or has the information I would be very grateful. (=

Checked all articles in that issue & none were about quills. If it was under one of the things like "letters to editor, etc." it is not in the archives, just the articles.

Was that the only thing in this section you read like, was it about living and dealing on a farm or something? If so, I will read articles.......

Thanks for your response. I think it was probably in a letter. Someone wrote in telling how to easily remove porcupine quills. It was on page 94 of issue 16, August 1972. Thanks for trying to help. (=

It is possible it is in issue #13, January 1972 page 122. The index lists both of them. Thanks again!

Does anyone have the #16 issue? Desperate for information in the "Letters to the editor" or "Contact" as it was called then. It's not included in the archives. Thanks!

MEN has a website....I would go there & email them. Surely they have an orginal copy that they can review and get the item you are looking for. :)
