Miniature enthusiast

Hello everyone!

I am relatively new to woodworking but I am a long time craftsman and I've always been good with my hands. Aside from a few woodworking classes when I was a teenager, I have little in the way of formal training but I've been thinking about signing up for some local classes this spring.

I really enjoy making miniatures and furniture is my favorite. I like to work most in 1/3 scale but I've also worked on smaller projects.

I love making miniatures too. It is lovely to find a fellow enthusiast. Welcome to the board. I'm new too!

This reminds me that somewhere out there in that building of mine, I have an old crafts jig saw especially designed for building miniature houses out of wood. I need to find it and see if it still works. We built small houses and furniture that was more on the lines of dollhouse furniture.

Wow, that sounds like it would be hard to manage such small projects. I'm not sure I could do it without getting frustrated. Sure sounds interesting, though!
