So i bought them all up, hoping to make Farmerlor's mushroom soup for canning recipe. I had just made turkey broth, but it turns out I don't have enough for all the mushrooms I bought.
Do you think it would work to sautee the mushrooms in butter and then freeze until I have enough broth for them, or what are your suggestions.
I can make one batch of soup, but I still have 4 lbs more mushrooms.
