trying to decide between the 2. One big difference is the price. But also the features it has. anyone have an opinion? I got the windows 7 phone but cant decide if it is worth keeping (have 30 days to decide) I depend on different ringtones for diff ppl such as boss, work , family friends as I had on my old ph. BUT window7 ph cant download aftermarket ringtones so u r stuck with what ever is on ph and it isnt much or very good ringtones.
My DD 18 has the iphone and says u can get ringtones from itunes but it costs. I know that reason sounds stupid but when I am busy working I dont have time to pull my ph out and look at it everytime I get a call. and with downloaded ringtones I know imediately who it is and if I need to pause and answer it, such as my boss, hubby, kids, verses not for unknown callers.
Also my hubby called me twice today and for some reason it came up private and I dont answer private calls, if you cant show me your number you dont need to talk to me very bad and can leave a message LOL...

SOOOOOO any opinions???

Mainly because of iTunes. With iTunes you can get everything from movies to songs to ringtones. Plus I have a lot of friends with iPhones that seem to love them.

ask the teenagers....I'm clueless. :hu I didn't realize what an "app" was until my husband told me....he works for verizon. I just figured out how to turn my phone to vibrate back in October for hunting season.

We have to get new phones and I'm trying to decide what to get too so I'll be interested to hear this....we don't have a landline phone and hubby gets a discount with verizon since he's an employee.

Much happier with the Iphone than the windows 7 phone. One thing is I think because they are so new nd there isnt a whole lot out there for them yet and they will eventually improve but for now I love me Iphone!!! :clap

I have the same iphone. Love the apps! the kids and I fight over who gets to play with the phone. I actually use it to keep them busy when they are driving me nuts. Even my 3 year old can turn it on and pick a game to play and can use it as fast as I can. I had to lock it with a password when she started stealing it and hiding under the bed to play Angry Birds!

Honestly? neither.
I have an android phone and wouldn't ever go back. There are a ton of options for all pricepoints and it's opensource and very open to lots of options for apps and free ringtones, etc.

Just ordered my computer-in-a-pocket HTC Incredible android phone.

Open source was the big sales deal for me.
