Hoping someone can direct me. I am confined to a wheelchair and I need to build a lower stand for my table saw and other shop equipment. I have a small space and need to have everything mobile so I am looking for good casters that I can really lock out out swivel down and out somehow when I get the equipment in position.

Thanks for the time..

I would email the editors of Wood, Woodworkers Journal, Woodsmith, Family Handyman, etc. Over the years they have published various methods for putting casters on tools to make them easy to move and yet solid when in place. They might know just what you are looking for and I am sure they would be willing to advise you.

A step ahead of ya

Thanks oldNamvet,

I did do that as well, no luck although I was directed to General/General International as they apparently do offer products for those of us in wheelchairs. I went ahead and built a simple frame stand which brought the table saw to about mid chest height and I can tip it up on to a 4 wheel dolly if I need to move it.
