One of my grandmoms is having horrendous back issues.
She's seeing specialists and everything, but I want to make her some supplemental things that might help her healing.
She has spinal stenosis, curvature and a slipped disc.
It's pretty bad, she's had to get epidurals a couple times. She said she can't even move without the pain meds, but she hates them because they make her "slow and dumb" (her words!).
What foods/herbs can I get together that would reduce inflammation and speed healing?
I was thinking about taking her my beef and veggie stew made with oxtail stock. I figured all that good connective tissue in the broth would be supportive.
I don't know what else, though.
