I have a house built in 1955.
I want to replace the front door and notice that it is not a standard size - it is 35 5/8 x 79 1/2.
The new doors I have looked at are all exact sizes (36x80) etc.
What's going to be the best way to cut down a new door? take it to a milling shop?
Or am I going to have to entirely replace the casing to get the new size to fit?
Is this a typical situation?
