In the spring, we got a smoker, and the first thing we smoked was a turkey breast, since hubby had just shot a wild turkey. Well, being new to smoking, ( reads as we really didn't know what we were doing), the breast came out very dry. Today, I was cleaning out and organizing the freezers, and took out the bag of smoked turkey breast. I figured I could use it in some type of dish that would kinda soften up the turkey, yet enhance the smoky flavour. I'm at a loss.

Any suggestions?

Marinate it overnight (or longer) in your favorite seasonings, then shred it or cut it small and add it to a sauce.

Fettucine Alfredo or BBQ sandwiches come to mind.

If you have a meat grinder, can you grind it with greasy burger, marinate it with cumin (taco spice), and cook it up for tacos?

I love smoked turkey bean soup- just cover with water and some onions and celery and some soaked beans and let it simmer for a few hours and you have great bean soup.
or smoked turkey, tomato and shredded cabbage soup- cooke down the turkey with the tomatoes and right about 1/2 hour before serving you add the shredded cabbage! both yummy!
Of course you can add just about any veggie you like to the turkey tomato too--onions, carrots, celery, parsnips, green beans, corn--you think of it, drop it right in!
