I guess that's what they get for accepting government monies....
 
Aly, i think it's ridiculous. Obama didn't fire him, he resigned. He also walked away with 20 million in retirement benefits. The media sucks. I know the govt suggested a new leader for GM but it wasn't required for them to get the loan. I do think that the government will soon be in all our buisiness though. Socialism is right around the corner for all of us regardless of how we feel about it. We are all being led like sheep hopefully not to the slaughter.
 
They had NO BUSINESS offering bailout monies and ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS forcing Mr. Wagner out. :somad That is the job of the stockholders, to run that company.

Your right SKR. :clap Now, after all the our bailout money is gone, they are considering bankruptcy.
 
and yet, we all quietly go on our merry way while those around us proclaim proclaim we're crazy if we protest b/c after all it was such a horrible mess before, you know, the mess that kept us safe from more attacks, the mess that for 7 1/2 years didn't wipe out our retirement accounts, yeah, that mess.
 
I don't want to see gov't involved in private business. But, I guess if you're a business demanding billions of taxpayer $ for bailout, you might have a string or 2 attached. Or you may not (consider the financial sector) and cause major national outrage over that fact.
