Let me count the ways.

1. I am a premier member
2. I am a verified seller
3. I have 100% feedback
4. Customer for 10+ years
5. They want my ss#
6. They want a copy of my licence
7. They want a copy of a bill proving residence
8. They limited my account
9. I can't close my account
10. I can't delete my bank account
11. I CAN receive $$$
12. I CAN'T send money
13. I CAN'T withdraw $$$
14. So basiclly I am screwed because I will not send my personal info that they already have.
15. repeat 1-4

Holy cow.

You need to throw an outright hissy. Demand to talk to a supervisor. Keep going up the chain.

I are you absolutely certain that this is NOT a phishing scam???? Have you tried logging into your account by NOT following any e-mail links??

Oh, I did. Eric, who I talked to said there was nothing they could do and he WAS the supervisor. While I was mid sentence about how I was a premier, verified member with a perfect rating he said "Ma'am, have a Happy Holiday.", and hung up.

:barnie

And because E-bay owns paypal, the only way you can have transactions on E-bay is with a paypal account. E-bay is now 1 less seller with a 707/ 100% positive feedback.

Etsy here we come. I can at least accept money orders with Etsy.

Nope not a scam. It is because laws have changed. They were going to send me my new debit card (old one expired) but they now can't send to a PO box. I have had a debit card with them since they started to offer it. I am sorry I am not electronically sending all that info.

Ask them if you can fax the information. Much safer way to send it. Plus report that supervisor for being a douche.

I still buy off of E-bag and I haven't had a paypal account for over 5 years now. They (paypal) dicked me around just like they are you, so I told them to shove it. When I find something I want on E-bay, I simply ask the seller if they would accept a money order payment. If they want to sell it bad enough, they will take money orders. Another way around is to ask them if they can accept phone sales. If they do, I get their number and just bypass E-bay all together!

Craigslist and the other new auction/sales sites, have just about KILLED E-bay's business and I hope the greedy E-bastards choke on the money they get now.
Can ya tell there is no love loss for E-bay in this house?
