I have never heard anything like this. Her voice hits you like a ton of bricks and the longer you listen, the more she gives. Her range is absolutely unbelievable... From rough to sweet and everything in-between. Listen to the end, it'll get you, promise!

@Rammy he IS good! Wow... Reminded me a bit now of the guy that did the first blind audition in The Voice UK (current series). He started singing and when he got to chorus sounded exactly like a woman! All the judges thought it was two people lol There are some incredibly talented singers out there.

I like watching youtube videos of talented people from other countries. They have Got Talent shows all over the world and it just amazes me how many talented people there are in so many different cultures. Its too bad we cant admire the differences in other places instead of attacking them.

I didn't see any 9 octaves-- he needed to be singing basso profundo along with those countertenor notes. My money is still on Yma Sumac... reputed to have 6 1/2 octaves but the only documented recordings were about 4 1/2 octaves (most decent singers have about a 3 octave range). Plus, that Russian guy could Hit the high notes, whereas Yma could SING them...
(the sound track is not quite in synch with the film in this very old recording)
