I despise that one or 2 stupid mice that get in the house each year!

just drives me insane

a few months ago I saw one and nailed him with poison...good thing he died right under the sink cause when I opened the cabinet to get some dish soap, there he was....easy disposal lol

then another....I put a glue trap under the cabinet cause I "thought" one was in the house....you know that mouse instinct....haha.....yup, got him in the glue trap today. Bastard ate 5 out of 6 juice boxes that I keep for Nicole's school lunches. Ticked me off.....so in the garbage they go and to the store I go to get some more drinks for Nicole's lunches

don't ya just hate them....those few that breach the fort! :)

man I hate things in my house (and this puppy is fast becoming one of them lol he was doing so well and has backtracked a bit--ugh)

You'll hate me for saying this, FC, but I think mice are so cute! I put out humane traps, then drive them down the road to release them. My cats hate me, too.

Yuck, I hate mice. Years ago a field next to my first apartment was cleared and the whole apartment complex had a major mice infestation. They were literally eating through the walls between apartments and were so numerous that they had no fear of people. I woke up one night when a mouse ran across my face - I moved the next day.

Now I have Jack Russells :clap and not a single mouse has ever made it into the house (alive!).

Well, a dead mouse is better than *half* a dead mouse, at least. My cats do that a lot. Apparently the southern hemisphere of yer basic mouse is not such good eatin'.

Not just mice, either. Back in college I used to rent room in a house with a squirrel-catching cat. Who liked me. I guess. Many was the morning I would awake to find the bloody hindquarters of a squirrel lovingly placed in my slippers. I never knew whether I was supposed to eat it, admire it, or dispose of it.

We assumed he ate the front portion cuz we never found 'em, but for all I know there is a house in Newark DE that still has the mummified remains of many, many half-squirrels stuffed into a heating duct or something like that. He was an odd cat and I wouldn't've put it past him.

Every out building I own, gets mice trapped every fall. The house is built so that a mouse would have very hard time getting in, unless one of my dogs held the door open and invited him in! :gig

Snap traps and peanut butter works great for thinning out the local mouse population. :D

We've found that a pecan glued to a mouse trap works like a charm. I've never had a mouse steal the bait and it says fresh. We've even used the same pecan for several mice. In our old house we caught 10 in 24 hours on 3 traps and the next day we got a cat

lol a pecan that sounded so funny

yea every year I get that couple of mice that make it in somehow. Tony found under the second bathroom sink the hole around the pipe, the gasket thingy was loose and they must have pushed up thru. Well that has been glued down nice and tight last night so that must have been there front door.

I think it just gets old. Always, always, always something to deal with lol all the crap gets old from chasing that one stupid mouse, to laundry every day, to cooking, to cleaning, to maintenance, etc....boring and tiresome lol

That must have been a big trap, to catch a cat!!

I have two good mousers, but unfortunately, as often as not, they are the cause of our mouse problems; They bring them in to show us  and then let them go ... and then often lose interest. And then I need to set traps.
