There was a budding romance at the goat pen last week. The owner of the goats, Jennifer, was visited by Joe. He arrrived late Thursday night from Indiana.. He and Jennifer were meeting in person for the first time. They met a while back on a "farm" message board. He flew out to meet her, and her family,

On Saturday morning asked Jennifer's father' for permission to "court" her. On Saturday evening, her dad offered his Corvette for Joe to take Jennifer out for a drive and dinner, (He NEVER lets anyone else drive the Corvette!!) They went up on Mt. Lemmon to watch the sunset, and while doing that He asked Jennifer for permission to "court" her.

Hence the name of the new baby, "Little Joe" in honor of his visit.

So... we will see how this developes!

We have two courting couples at church right now. One set is getting married in June, and we are certian the other will soon follow.

I was thinking the same thing. So obviously they have been chatting for a while. They look really cute together. Did he have to come far for his visit? That is so romantic.

So obviously they have been chatting for a while. They look really cute together. Did he have to come far for his visit? That is so romantic.

Oh and the goaties are just adorable too!!

He came just for Friday thru Sunday, from I forget what city in Indiana, to Tucson AZ. They have only been "chatting" for about 6 weeks now.

But, it is one of those cases where they feel they have known each other all their lives. Both home schooled kids, She is 23 and he is 25. She has never "dated", just been waiting and praying for the right man to come along and that she would have the wisdom to know him when he did cross her path. Very important to both young people that their families are involved and approve of the match.
