Premixed Recipes

A few years ago I received several packages of kinda homemade premixed meals. One was for a black bean soup, one for a spicy cornbread, and one for another bean soup. They were kinda handy.

Does anyone have any favorite recipes along this line? I should have looked at those packages closer. I thought It might make a good gift Idea for the Holidays.
