I am so proud of myself! I finished about halfway in the pack...so I wasn't actually the slowest. :p I had so much fun, the weather was perfect and the route was in old downtown Tacoma by the ship yard and train station. (There were so many hills that my legs are wobbly today!)

If there was an "I bow to you" smilie I would post it. Congrats!

I have walked quite a few 5k races but never ran one. I am usually third from last and just happy not to be last.

Halfway is impressive!!! I'd be three weeks behind going "just a heart murmur! Be right there!" LOLOL.

I can dance for hours. Even fast dance. I can walk all day, even when at a steep incline. I cannot run. LOL. I can walk/sprint til my heart murmur explodes, too. heh. So I'm hugely impressed at people who can long distance run.

Thanks everyone!

Yes I'm training to beat my time and by next November, I'll be running a "turkey trot" which is a 10k! I was a runner when I was younger, but now that I'm much older I walked mostly. Four mi per day, 5 days a week. Since I lost some weight recently, running is easy again.
