I made some calendula oil with the olive oil and dried calendula petals. Once it is sieved is keeping it stored in a cool dark place good enough or do I have to keep it in the refrigerator? I'm going to use it to make a lotion using beeswax and lavender water eventually... but I'm not ready yet. I know the lotion will have to be kept in the refrigerator. Also, besides online does anyone have any suggestions on where to get beeswax? Thanks in advance for any advice! :)

Infused oils should keep for 6 months unrefrigerated. I keep mine in a dark room in the basement, and I've never had any of them go bad.

Are there any farmers markets near you? I went to one near my neighborhood yesterday, and there was a guy there selling beeswax and honey.

Or you could check out your county's beekeeper association. I know some of the members of our group sell their beeswax, but not at the farmer's market.

My husband said he was going to do something like that for me... so I'll see what he comes up with too. Thanks.
