Hello all! This is my first post. :D My sister, aggieterpkatie, told me about this forum. What a wealth of information!

I am wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a great relaxation/calming CD. I have IBS that is pretty well controlled except for when I'm under a lot of stress. Next week I'm going to have a stressful day and would like to find something to listen to to help ease that stress so I can avoild an IBS flare-up. .
I'd like a CD that can be bought on Itunes. I'm looking for a CD that has someone talking me through the relaxation process.... "slow your breathing.... relax your eyes.. etc." instead of just music.

Thanks so much! :D

I don't know of anything that is guided but I'd recommend it if they use a background of Pachelbel's Canon in D Major. Maybe you could do a search with the terms of both and see if anything turns up? I don't use iTunes so I can't really help much. But I've used that piece for relaxation in the past.

Oh, and :welcome

Glad to have you here! :)

I have a CD somewhere here that I used for work, (slients) and also used it for my son. i will look for it tomorrow, as i can't remeber thename of it. It had relaxation techniques, I know one was called jelly belly. I'll get back to you in the morning if I can find it.
