I wish we had some sheep too, but goats are enough for me now.

My aunt and uncle have about 500+ lambs born every spring, we used to take bottle babies from them to raise, tons of fun! I should take a pic of their barn this spring when they have babies again.

I loved that video. That little goatie was so adorable and the sheep was sweet to let him play on her so much.
I would be happy with a doeling. Just have to hide her in the closet when the apt managers come around. Guess I'd have to name her " Incognito". Maybe I better not. I'd rather name her Hidey.

Have you decided what breed of goats and sheep you would raise in the future, or no preference?

Gulf Coast sheep sound promising. Adapted through the centuries to deal with the weather and very parasite resistant. Wish I could throw the Romanov fertility rates in with it.

Strong health is important.
Milking breeds would be cool. Great cheeses from it.
I'd prefer small to medium size breeds.

Dairy goats but I'm open about breeds. We have hot sticky summers if that would make a difference in suitable breeds.
