Lovin' The Homestead
Sadly my black langshan rooster has to go. He is GOOD roo, he does not crow, flog, does not have spurs, in general isnt possesive over his flock. However, he picked up one of my bantams by the neck and shook her, which in unacceptable. However, my hens his size have never had any issues with him, he is polite to them.
He would do well with one hen or a flock, he is NOT possessive at all and I have several non-poultry animals running around in the chicken yard with no problems.
I got him at the beginning of July as a two day old, so he is about 5 months old. He has a little silver wynadotte thrown in, or so we guess. He looked like a wynadotte baby, then grew, still has some silver streaking and not the perfect langshan body tyoe. So unfortunately, he will not make it in a show.
He is free, I will drive wherever in California to drop him off (I live in Santa Barbara), I just want him to go to a good non-bantam home that wont eat him right away.
