Pottery type neti pots are expensive when you consider what you need to do with them. All you do is flush your nasal passages with water and salt (and sometimes an herbal tea). There is no need to pay for such an unnecessary luxury.

I see the #2 bottles in dollar stores and wallyworld all the time for less than $1.00 each. Many of us have mustard and catchup containers sitting around since most of these condiments come in their own squeeze bottle nowadays. Who cares if your neti bottle is red or yellow!

The free version is a recycled bottle from anything that comes in a handy container with any type of spout or nozzle.

I know using them is supposed to be a good thing, but I can't imagine pouring water up my nose. Just the thought makes my chest tighten.

I got a free plastic neti pot by liking them on facebook. Then the next week they had free nose rinse. But since I got the neti pot, I wasnt able to get the other. They have different free deals on there all the time Im told.. I havent tried my neti out yet. To affraid because my nose is usually sealed closed all the time. Air dont even go in, so I doubt water would..
